I combine the experience of international executive search expertise and leadership coaching, with an intuition and strategic view of talent and career development. This defines NAKAMA — a consultancy whose name stands for meaningful and sustainable partnerships (Japanese: NAKAMA).
NAKAMA, founded in 2010 has the mission to help clients make smart hiring decisions that are commercially and strategically meaningful.
I support clients across a wide range of industries who want to hire the best. I place particular emphasis on leadership style, values alignment, and cultural fit. This is how long-term, effective partnerships are created — true to the spirit of NAKAMA.
My focus is executive search, talent acquisition solutions, recruitment process optimisation, and the targeted use of AI in recruiting and executive career development. As a TÜV-certified AI trainer, Hedy AI Coach, and LINC-certified personality coach, I develop and facilitate practical workshops, online training and coaching programmes. I combine human and artificial intelligence into structured, responsible, and effective solutions.
The AI Executive Career Lounge (www.ai-careerlounge.com) is an AI-supported career and positioning programme for executives in transition. It brings together executive search, strategic positioning, and modern AI tools within a clearly structured process. Executives gain clarity of vision, leadership profile, and how to make informed, market-oriented career decisions.

Success requires more than human and artificial intelligence alone — it also needs energy and resilience. I complement my entrepreneurial work with a sound understanding of health, resilience, and performance. As a certified epigenetics coach, Pilates trainer, and nutrition advisor, I understand how critical physical health and inner balance are for long-term performance. This knowledge is intentionally integrated into my services to strengthen the return on talent investment in a holistic and sustainable way.
My curiosity and openness to exploring new paths have taken me on journeys through over 25 countries. At the beginning of the millennium, I took a sabbatical and and backpacked through North, Central and South America. I experienced several earthquakes in Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica and Ecuador, as well as numerous volcanic eruptions. These experiences have sharpened my personal resilience and had a lasting impact on how I deal with change.
I currently live in Portugal overlooking the Atlantic and work across Europe with companies, private equity and venture capital investors, startups, scale-ups, and senior leaders who expect to exceed standard solutions.

NA-KA-MA – The translation from Japanese is all about colleagues, friends, partners and employees. It describes a close-knit community, a network of partners who go through ups and downs together and support each other. It is about loyalty, trust and cohesion – like a family that is there for each other in both good and difficult times.
